We, Deep and Carl - sons of citizens of the British Empire - ask you to come on a journey of discovery with us, through our YouTube Videos / podcasts, and on Patreon, which has unabridged, exclusive content on Excluded: How the American Elite Founded a Country for Themselves. Given that we think of ourselves as British, but with the benefit of also having a much wider international perspective, including from the Global South, we think we can bring something unique, not purely West-centric thinking, to the issues. Each part of this ongoing video / audio series looks at a specific event and what it tells us of the systemic reality behind how America came into being and its story up to now. It is not a pretty story but well worth hearing as we reveal the truth behind the myths and propaganda of the country that is the complete opposite of what it claims to be. This is important not as an intellectual exercise but because what America really is impacts us all, not just the American people, in a world it largely still controls. We are in a world that seems to be going in a direction that the vast majority of people neither want, nor need. While this forms the core of our series, we will take a wider, closer look at our direction of travel and the reasons for it. During the course of this, we will demolish many myths, even those reinforced by people we think have something important to say. Mustn’t Grumble? That’s what ordinary (strange to call the majority of humanity that) people have always been told. We strongly disagree. Plenty of chances to do just that when you realise how we all, regardless of ethnicity and colour, working and middle class, got transplanted here into a dysfunctional, authoritarian, colonialised, uncaring world by America, where there are no ideals or higher values, only money.
